Wainscot Router BitsWith Infinity Cutting Tool's new three-piece bit set (item 00-510), you can produce custom 5/8- or 3/4-in.-thick solid-wood wainscot from any wood species you like to give your walls historic flair. The trio consists of a two-piece tongue-and-groove set to mill the interlocking edges, plus a wainscot router bit that forms a bead and the adjacent beveled edges. All three bits are 1/2-in. shank and carbide-tipped, manufactured to Infinity's tight tolerances using five-axis computerized grinding centers. The company says this ensures optimum clearance angles and clean, burn-free cuts that require little to no sanding. The three-piece set is currently on sale for $89.90 (regularly $99.90). If you already own tongue-and-groove bits, you can buy just the wainscot bit (item 02-510) for $29.90.
